Intentions Alone Are Insufficient
There’s confusion between: Having intentions or aspirations vs. executing effectively. There’s a well-known gap: People often intend to act but fail to follow through. Habits, systems, and constraint assessments matter tremendously.
Here’s an intentionality formula mindset hack that can help you increase your odds for success, from 30% to 100%.
Intention + Systems + Environment + Adaptation = Results
Intention = What am I trying to do/achieve & why
Systems = What do I need to do every day to make success inevitable. Habits, routines, processes, checklists, etc.
Environment = Space, people & constraints that make goal achievement easier or harder
Adaptation = Correction loop-measures, feedback & change openness/flex
Discipline is turning intentions into actions. Alignment of the formulas factors compounds success. Set your intentions. But ensure you holistically incorporate all the key factors to ensure you can truly execute on them.
