Hold High Standards

Trends in leadership show we are becoming more and more willing to accept poor leadership behaviors in family, business, politics, etc. In other words, it seems that since many leaders (lots of choices here) are allowed excuses for poor behaviors, it's become "ok". The local and global news provides more than enough evidence of this.

Yet, our youth (our world) seek leaders that model exemplary behaviors. Don't all of us want this???

Don't allow weak leadership or excuses to become the norm.
Do hold leaders fully accountable to high standards.

Leadership is getting more challenging in an increasingly complicated world. Allowing sub standard performance of leaders (in any role) only makes it more difficult for leaders who are very effective and doing a really good job. Not holding others accountable and THEN complaining about their behavior is totally wrong. We can’t complain about behaviors we aren’t willing to seek to address. Reflect on that...Spread the word…
