Finding your "Why"-Part Two

Meaning and purpose are intertwined in and through life. Doing tasks that are of personal/intrinsic value is essential to life fulfillment and well being, as is, having a clear purpose (extrinsic) in all we do. Hopefully, that purpose involves serving and benefiting others. Meaning and purpose are keys to fueling up our emotional resiliency to combat stress, adversity and forms of depression.

Here are a few “tips” one can use to cultivate meaning and purpose (with the understanding that you might have to be patient with the arrival of “your calling”).

Gain clarity of whats of most value to you. Know your values.

Explore new ideas in alignment with your values

Expose yourself to new experiences

Have positive role models and mentors

Know and use your character signature strengths

Do acts of caring and kindness

There are just a few tips that are proven to work which can benefit all of us, at any age, in any role. Hope this helps you some, even in small ways. Also, pass these along to others in need.
