Achieving Leadership Mastery Starts Here

A Common Language of Culture & Leadership

Through life, we all accumulate experiences, skills and behaviors. While not always consistently, it is how we individually grow and develop. We develop a individual mental model of how to work with others and use our leadership influence. Where this has a major impact is in team settings where we must bring our talents, character, interact and collaborate effectively with others, build relationships, trust and deal with degrees of conflict. On top of this, being educated or trained on use of a systematic set of leadership influence behaviors and principles typically does not occur in high school, college or business.

When individuals are placed on a team and they lack a common set of values and common understanding (behavioral language) how to behaviorally live out those values, they will tend to attempt to use only what they learned individually through their life experiences. Sometimes this works, but often not, and its only natural that we tend to resort to more individualistic behaviors then collective interdependent ones. This is where having a purposefully built, values based culture unites and amplifies talent. When built effectively, it creates a common cohesive team identity that the entire team owns and is collectively accountable for. That team has a very different “belief” in themselves!

Having a team go through a system of training on how to influence most effectively is essential to gaining that consistency of chemistry and performance. If you are seeking a united team that understands, relies on and takes care of each other, not just technically or athletically, but to work together at their best of capabilities, they must have that common identity and a common behavioral language of culture and how to lead. That can only come from training together.

I use a proven, systematic method to help organizations develop their culture and leadership which maximizes their talent and overall performance. Reach out to me to discuss how the process works and what it will do for you.
