Visualize Your Thinking To Manage Your Behaviors

We have the ability to "think" and visualize our way into both + and - behaviors. Routine negative thinking reinforces (think "impulsivity") our need to execute those negative brain circuits. So does positive thinking. Continues rumination of those brain circuits (our mental wiring) continues to strengthen them with a microscopic coating of a protein substance. That substance acts as a insulator that causes those circuits to be transmitted (again think “impulsivity”) at a higher rate. This is the core neurological reason that pervasive negative thinking only causes more of that.

We can't always be positive. However, we can recognize negative thought patterns & reframe our mindsets. And BTW, doing so improves our ability to become more resilient to stress and adversity.

Visualize your thinking processes and you can create and find more positives than negatives in your day.
