Achieving Leadership Mastery Starts Here

Deliberate Intentions

We speak to the need for bold goals and breaking them down into steps all the time. What we do not speak to and execute enough of is changing our focus to create a new habit around being more intentional.

Elevated intentionality is hard. Very hard. Our brain pulls us to routine. That’s our brain architecture, like it our not. We operate on “cruise control” frequently during the day.

We each can change this, but that requires a higher degree of deliberate focus.

Being and staying engaged (focused) on important and enjoyable tasks is one of the five pillars of overall flourishing and well being. Doing this requires minimizing distractions. It requires us to stay in the flow zone and push ourselves to the very edge of our skillful abilities. It takes a mindset of know that failure may occur and it’s the combination of our perseverance and adapting to the conditions that will keep us going on the journey.

Message: yes, set bold goals. Wrap your goals with greater deliberate intentions.
