Which Next Level Leadership Version Of You Are You Working On - V3.0 or V 250.0???

Often we hear individuals say “I’m working on Jack 2.0 or Debbie 3.0”. Continuous growth is imperative in our world for certain. I promote it actively, train and teach others how to achieve it and applaud it.

However, recently, I’ve rethought how I coach individuals and teams on the 2.0 or 3.0 version way of thinking. Reality is that each of us, are more likely working on a much high and granular, numerical version of ourselves. And to get to the Next Level of development and performance, requires attentiveness to more granularity of behavior and skill change.

Examples: V 2.102 or more to my point V105.0 or much higher.

The more we keep our focus on intentionally driven growth, the greater the motivation and likely hood of working through the obstacles and then achieving them. This is backed up by all the research around belief systems, motivation and deliberate practice to develop skill.

Today’s dynamic, under certain, high velocity world DEMANDS constant focus on personal development. There is no “done” or “good enough” (with rare exception).

Believe that your Vxxxx.xxx numerical level has no end in sight and that when you keep your plan in front of you, working it daily, being accountable and taking in feedback, you will stay focused, adapt and feel the difference how you grow.
