Are you REALLY approaching building up your leadership capability in a continuous, seeking every opportunity to develop manner? Or are you treating yourself and your teams development as a hobby and simply maybe only “dabbling” in investing in it. Are you just “hoping” you will be able to respond to today’s challenge and conflict?
Think of it this way-given the pace and velocity and uncertainty of change, when we are not personally committed to constant improvement in our leadership toolkit, we are actually falling behind in our ability to adapt and respond. The demand curve is steep and unpredictable. Are you preparing yourself as a leader to manage that curve?
Skills like mindset management, emotional IQ, resiliency, strengths application, communication style adapting, building trust and high performing teams and culture are more critical now than ever. Relying on just a book or webinar to invest in yourself is ok, but often insufficient.
Be committed to a continuous improvement in “elevating your game”. Your ability to influence and motivate others in a highly dynamic world requires you to have the highest level of leadership maturity and competence. Make the commitment now.
